06:30 AM – Depart Arusha / Pick-Up from Hotel
Your safari guide will meet you at your accommodation and begin the scenic 2-hour drive westward to Lake Manyara National Park. Enjoy views of Maasai villages and the Great Rift Valley escarpment along the way.
09:00 AM – Arrive at Lake Manyara Gate & Begin Game Drive
Enter the park and start your game drive through lush forests, grassy floodplains, and acacia woodland. Keep your eyes open for elephants, giraffes, baboons, and if you're lucky — Manyara's famous tree-climbing lions.
11:30 AM – Birdwatching by the Lake Shore
Lake Manyara is a paradise for bird lovers. You’ll stop at several points near the lake to spot flamingos, storks, pelicans, herons, and many more of the 400+ species recorded here.
12:30 PM – Picnic Lunch in the Park
Enjoy your packed lunch at a picnic site inside the park, with panoramic views of the lake and Rift Valley cliffs.
01:30 PM – Continue Game Drive
Head toward the southern end of the park, where hot springs bubble up through the earth. Watch for buffalo, hippos, warthogs, and a variety of antelope.
03:30 PM – Begin Return to Arusha
After a final loop through the park, exit and begin your drive back to Arusha.
06:00 PM – Drop-Off at Hotel
Arrive back in town by early evening, with a camera full of photos and a head full of memories.
